2nd Grade and Art
Becky Bruce

I graduated with a BA in Sociocultural Studies from Bethel University in 2007. My intention was to go into ministry and to use my passion for the kingdom. I spent a number of years involved in short term missions but the right opportunity never presented itself for long term missions so I worked in many different fields before making my way back to Fond du Lac. I was approached 4 years ago by a staff member here at FCS to teach K-8 art. I was so excited to accept the position because of the impact my art teacher had on me when I was a student here. I moved into a full time position the next year adding 2nd grade to my plate. I have co-taught the 2nd grade as well as teacher art now for the last 3 years. My favorite thing about teaching is experiencing that 'Aha!' moment when students are learning something new and it just clicks. It's such an honor to be a part of each student's learning process and to share in their spiritual growth as well.
